Things are looking dicey at the top after a new rbb poll saw the CDU take the lead in Berlin. Meanwhile, Stefan Evers and Elif Eralp are neck and neck for mayor.
The Berlin state election is two weeks away, and for months there wasn't a clear party on top of the polls: things bounced between Die Linke, the CDU, and the AfD. Then, in July, Die Linke edged out a clear lead, and has held it all through August — until now.
When asked who should become Governing Mayor in the survey, CDU lead candidate Stefan Evers and his Left Party opponent Elif Eralp are tied, with 13% popularity each.
