By now, Berliners are used to seeing ads for the German Armed Forces splashed up on billboards and BVG buses across town. But the military's most recent marketing tactic targets young people at their most vulnerable: the late-night kebab shop.

According to sightings confirmed by the Ministry of Defence, the Bundeswehr is now appealing to potential recruits by putting their messaging on döner wrappers nationwide, including at least one confirmed Berlin kebab joint in Lichtenberg. The design abandons the traditional red-and-white döner illustration for camouflage, with the slogan "Einmal Karriere mit alles" – "One career with everything" – and a QR codes the scans directly to a career website.
