You can overhear a lot of interesting things on the Berlin U-Bahn. Rarely, though, do they lead to legal action from one of Germany's most prominent and controversial former politicians. The indiscretion at the centre of all this fuss occurred a few weeks ago when, on August 18, the German rapper Ski Aggu appeared on the "Almani Show" Twitch livestream, broadcast from Tempelhof U-Bahn platform.
Apparently, the Berlin-based musician didn't know the stream was already live — and therefore felt relaxed enough to make some startling allegations about Jens Spahn, the former leader of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag, who resigned from that post on July 18 after he and his husband announced they had become fathers via a surrogate in the United States. (Surrogacy of this kind is illegal in Germany.)
